InnerSelf.com welcomes your inner Self
We've been taught to look outside of ourselves for truth, validation, support, love, etc. Yet, many of us are now discovering that no matter how much love or validation we get from others, if we don't believe that we deserve it, it won't make a difference in our level of self-love and self-esteem.
This week, InnerSelf authors encourage us to not only look outside of ourselves, but to also look within. And to step away from only trying to fix the world "out there" but to "clean out" our own inner drama and judgments. As we clean up the clutter in our own mind and body, we will find that the outer world will also be less cluttered with emotional and physical garbage.
We can choose a path that creates love and harmony by choosing those essences within our own mind and heart first, and then the outside path will develop accordingly.
